"Look at me when you're talking to me!" Goon Squad Game 4

In LASNAI because there are so many teams, you have to win and keep winning in order to make it to the championship. With our second game we lost to the Frog Pond Maulers, which puts us in contention for 9th place. With that being said we want to ensure our team has fun and gets to enjoy all the wonderful things Syracuse, New York has to offer. Needless to say, early morning games are usually much tougher after a night of enjoying yourself at the fine Syracuse establishments. Most the Goon Squad is pros, so showing up to the game and giving it your all is something these men do day in and day out. Now I cannot say that is true for all lacrosse players, as the Seneca Marksmen actually forfeit this game because they were not there ready to play until the second half.

Initially I was going to scrap this footage altogether but I decided that #ThrillaNation may find one or two of these clips bring them joy. My favorite is when Pat Saunders starts throwing around the body and takes out Goon Squad member Rob King. A close second is when Pat then goes for retribution and decides to throw his body at another player, Pat was certainly motivated this morning and wanted the Seneca Marksmen to know! Honestly, I think Can Am player Lucas Beaver was getting under his skin a bit and Pat wanted him to feel the wrath!

Check it out for yourself here:

As you can see from the footage it was certainly an interesting game! I hope that you enjoyed the commentary, the blooper hits and even my goal. The next game we play is against the Czech Republic and essentially our championship game for 9th place! We are a motivated team that wants to finish top 10 and the boys definitely brought it.
