Born and raised south of Syracuse, in Lafayette, NY. Bill was a three-sport letter man in high school playing Football, Ice Hockey and Lacrosse. Post high school Bill received a scholarship to play D1AA football at Sacred Heart University, where he was an all-conference defensive end. Bill dual majored in Business Administration and Marketing, receiving Bachelor of Science degrees in both programs.
In September 2013, Bill co-founded the Thompson Brothers Lacrosse brand. In 2014, Bill was invited to the New England Black Wolves Free Agent Camp where he earned a roster spot. Bill played three years for the New England Black Wolves before being released in 2017. Bill is a Nike Athlete and last played for the Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League. In 2019, Bill competed in the Arena Lacrosse League and won the Championship with the St. Catharinesβs Shockwave. In 2020, Bill won the National Championship with the Philadelphia Phunk in the Interstate Box Lacrosse Association or IBLA. In 2021, Bill has become a contributing writer for the National Lacrosse League and looks to a bright future to seize more great opportunities!
