The Onondaga Red Hawks got out to an early 2 game lead in the 7 game Can Am Lacrosse Championship series. Tuscarora would not just roll over and battled hard in game 3 and 4 to tie the series up.

Here is Thrilla Vision from game 4:

As you can see from the video above it was a very close game. With any playoff series you begin to know the tendencies of players, rivalries begin and emotions run high. This series is no different. Both teams know the importance of each game and are laying it on the line each shift.

Sometimes when competition is high and there is a lot at stake the most important thing to do is keep your composure, which in the end will help the team tremendously. Some guys talk smack about me not being a "white boy", me being on a practice roster in the NLL and me just being plain "garbage". I've dealt with this my whole life: I'm either not native enough or too native; I'm an athlete but not a good one; I'm this or I'm that. At a young age I realized I cannot control what people say, but I can control how I react and how I receive what they say. I've chosen to use this negativity as motivation, besides who wants to listen to the naysayers anyways? Don't let someone bring you down or off your game with ignorance-- rather recycle that negative energy and use it as motivation. That's what I've chosen to do.
