2018 President’s Cup Game 2: Nanaimo Timbermen vs Onondaga Redhawks

In day two of President’s cup the squad the Onondaga Red Hawks took on the host team the Nanaimo Timbermen. Nanaimo Timbermen have been to several President’s Cup tournaments over the past few years and represent British Columbia well. We were looking for our first win and would need to come ready to play.

The Timbermen would be a tough team, as they are made up of several #ThrillaNation members. As mentioned in the game 1 recap, every team in the President’s Cup has come to play and is very competitive.

The host team Nanaimo Timbermen won this game 15-11. After the game we were invited to share a meal with Snuneymuxw First Nation’s people. It was a great feast with some traditional foods and great people. Its always an honor when you can travel to new places and be greeted with such hospitality.

Day 3 of President’s cup we would have 2 games in one day.
